Dad but how is it possible for a river to catch fire?
IRMCO celebrated 100 years since its inception in 2014. Over time, the company has developed conventional lubricants based on petroleum products mainly for the mechanical and semi-finished product processing industries.
Jeff Jeffery the current owner, son of the company’s founder, saw something in the 1970s that affected him deeply. Near his home a fire started, and what was burning was a river. He asked his father how it was possible for a river to catch fire, and his father told him that what was burning on that river was their lubricants, the lubricants that they made themselves.
From that moment, Jeff had a desire to find new solutions, new technologies that were compatible and respectful toward the environment and the protection of people’s health.
